Riley Scott is a 23-year-old Nursing student at Kapiʻolani Community College in her first semester. She decided to attend for her prerequisites.
She originally graduated from University of Denver, with a degree in Environmental Science. But she realized she didn’t quite like it and reassessed her main interests, healthcare, exercise science, and nutrition, which led to her changing her path.
Scott hopes to be a travel nurse, as her ideal lifestyle is as a free spirit who can pick up and go from any place frequently.
“I like seeing different places and love being outside,” said Scott, “I’m not a homebody.”
She loves to exercise and hike. Scott is a member of Orangetheory Fitness and regularly walks to campus from Mānoa, keeping in shape.
“I love finding new healthy places to eat and making friends,” said Scott.
