The semesterly Cactus and Coffee Clean Up event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 7:45 a.m. to noon. Since the time that the cactus garden was created by KCC alumni’s Moriso Teraoka and Sam Camp, the two have continued to maintain it with the help of others once a semester.
Students, faculty, staff, and those in the community are welcome to join to help maintain and preserve the campus’s garden. Interested volunteers are being asked to meet at the ʻIlima building courtyard Saturday morning.
Hosted by the Board of Student Activities (BOSA), volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves, gardening tools, and to wear comfortable clothes. Coffee will be served along with a light breakfast and lunch.
