Beau Fujii

Beau Fujii is a third-year student attending KCC majoring in Liberal Arts. Striving to transfer into the EMT program on campus, the 21-year-old is working toward his intended career of becoming a fireman. Being that firemen are typically the first responders for any type of emergency, Fujii is hoping to get into the EMT program to gain knowledge in the medical field so that he can use valuable information learned in his future career.

Fujii said that getting accepted into the EMT program is quite competitive, but he is confident that he will be able to get in and complete this one semester course to earn a certificate of completion.

In the meantime, Fujii is looking for volunteer work in hospitals and is looking to take medical classes as preparation. As a worker for the Office of Student Activities (OSA), Fujii wants to remind students that registration begins on Monday, Nov. 6. Fujii can provide help to students as a Hoʻokele Peer Mentor in ʻIliahi 231.
