With “Avengers: Endgame” just around the corner, fans are itching to discover the results of the long-awaited final confrontation between Earth’s greatest heroes and the Mad Titan, Thanos, who had ended 2018’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ with the death of half of every world’s in the universe population by the Snap. We were left with disbelief and tons of questions that can only “Endgame” can resolve. Here are seven of those that have to be answered for the peace of mind of every Marvel fan.

Who will defeat Thanos?

With new motivation and a finally reunited team, there’s no question that the Avengers will gain victory over their most powerful enemy. So the biggest question is who will strike the final blow? Newcomer Captain Marvel seems like the most logical considering her incredible powers, but fans have been thinking Nebula, the blue adopted daughter of Thanos, deserves to be the one to take down her father.

Subsequently, who will wield the Infinity Gauntlet?

Such a powerful item would tempt anyone that comes across it. Some speculate that once the Avengers defeat Thanos, the destruction of the Infinity Gauntlet will quickly follow. However, it’s more likely that one of the heroes will become the next wielder of the weapon in order to “un-snap” and bring back everyone, though who it will be is still up for debate.

Does everyone that was “dusted” by the Snap return?

In the comics, the half of the population that was dusted was brought back to life, but over the years it’s become obvious that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has no problem with straying from the print. It is possible that the devastating Snap is irreversible and that Thanos’ mark on the universe will be permanent.

Will Gamora, Loki, and Heimdall?

After the abrupt deaths of these three beloved characters by the purple Titan, everyone has been curious whether they might live once again, despite their deaths occurring before the Snap. Does “Endgame” bring about their return?

Do the Hulk and Bruce Banner make up?

In “Infinity War,” the green giant had about two minutes of screen time throughout the entire film, reasons varying between he was afraid of Thanos after the beatdown he was delivered in the beginning to he was tired of always fighting Dr. Banner’s battles. Whatever the case, everyone wants to know if the Hulk and Dr. Banner solve their problems and deliver some rage-fueled butt-kicking.

Where are Valkyrie and the rest of the Asgardians?

The lovely and deadly Valkyrie was MIA in “Infinity War,” leaving many wondering what had happened to her and the portion of the Asgardians that made it out after Thanos and goonies attacked their ship. Soon after, co-director Joe Russo released a statement that she survived the Snap, but there’s been no word on where they escaped to and if they’ll make an appearance. Valkyrie proved herself a more than capable warrior in 2017 “Thor: Ragnorak,” so it would make sense for her to join in the fight.

Lastly, who will make the ultimate sacrifice?

Since “Infinity War’s” harrowing ending, it has been unofficially officially established that in order to ‘avenge the fallen,’ at least one member of the original Avengers will finally take their last breath. Tony Stark, who’s origin movie in 2008 brought about the start of this decades-long journey, has been at the top spot, alongside Captain America, the very first Avenger. It’s been reported that Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, who play the characters respectively, are both finishing their contracts with Marvel, but here’s to hoping the character themselves are not gone.
