Garrett Goro is a first-year student at Kapiʻolani Community College who is a Liberal Arts major. The 19-year-old was born and raised in Hawaiʻi and currently resides in Kahala.

“I like the beaches here,” said Goro. “I go to the beach every Saturday with family and friends. My favorite beach is Waikīkī Walls.”

Goro’s go-to beach snack is chips, specifically the Doritos Nacho Cheese chips. When he’s not at the beach swimming, Goro enjoys playing soccer recreationally.

“I learned to play soccer when I was 8 years old,” said Goro. “Now I just play for fun.”

Goro also enjoys traveling and his ideal travel spot is Barcelona, Spain.

“I already go to Singapore once a year for vacation,” said Goro. “I want to go to Barcelona to see the different scenery and other things they have there.”
