Ked Tmetuchl is a 21-year-old in his second semester of majoring in IT (Information Technology) at Kapi‘olani Community College. Tmetuchl was born and lived most of his life in Palau. In the beginning of 2024, Tmetuchl later moved to Hawai‘i with his uncle where he would attend KCC.
“My parents and uncle wanted for me to be in this school and I like it so far,” Tmetuchl said.
In his time here in Hawai‘i, Temetuchl said he enjoys the weather, the good food, and the bus.
“I like to rely on the bus, public transportation because I’m tired of driving,” Temetuchl said.
After KCC, Temetuchl is considering transferring to the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa for his bachelor’s degree but is unsure.
“Well see; time will tell,” Tmetuchl said. “But I’m definitely aiming to complete these two years and get my associates.”
