What is the best class you have taken at KCC? Why?
Cat Cerda
Age: 19
Hometown: Ewa, Oʻahu
Major: Pre-Computer Science
“I think the best class I’ve taken is ITS 144. It was learning about how to work on computers, building them and working with the parts, diagnosing them and fixing them. I think it was the best class I’ve had because the teacher was great. I was the only girl in the class and he was really fair to me and I learned a lot.”
Robert Morgenweck

Major: Liberal Arts
“Technically I think any class is good because you get to meet a lot of new people and have new experiences and stuff like that. But to answer your question … I think I would have to say my speech class because I’m meeting new people and we’re going to write together.”
Kamalei Mertyris

Major: Secondary Education
“The class that I like the best would be Math 103. So far, I think I like it the best because it pertains to my major which is Secondary Ed and I want to be a high school math teacher. Already I like and appreciate the style the professor is doing and his energy in the class. It just seems like I’m going to have fun in the class.”

“The best class I’ve taken is art, the 3-D composition. It’s hands-on and you learn a lot of techniques.”

“World religions … even though it’s not for my major I thought it was very informative and it taught me a lot about history and the development of societies and culture over time.”
