KCC’s Employment Prep Center is hosting the Fall 2019 job fair today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Unlike last fall, the job fair will take place in the Lama Library. Students can check-in at the entrance to the library.

The job fair is an opportunity for students looking to network and connect with dozens of companies in Hawaiʻi. Employers from a diverse range of fields will be in attendance, including Ala Moana Hotel, Central Pacific Bank, and Diagnostic Laboratory Services. There will also be on-campus organizations, such as the STEM Center, for those who would prefer working at KCC.

Leading up to the fair, the EPC had been reviewing and editing students’ resumes. It is highly recommended that students bring multiple, up-to-date copies of their resume to give to the business they wish to apply to (and a few more, just in case).

Dressing to impress is a requirement for any student serious about pursuing a job as first impressions can have a lasting effect. Business casual clothing is encouraged. If a student does not have any clothing of their own in that category, they can contact the EPC at gethired@hawaii.edu or 808-734-9066 to recieve free professional clothes from the YWCA Dress for Success Program.

Kamehameha Schools is sponsoring the event and will be providing free brownies to attendees. A full list of the attending organizations is available here.
