For those of us that spend time investing in various fandoms, there are shows that we enjoy and appreciate more than others. Some shows have action-packed content while others are pure comedy. It may come off as silly to read into what your favorite anime says about you, but don’t be surprised if you discover something new about yourself. The series that we choose as our favorites can say a lot about who we are as people.

“Dragon Ball Z”: Power plays a huge part in your personality, or lack thereof. You struggle with control, and it can lead to avoidable conflicts. However, you are also an admirable person. You never surrender easily and you are always on the hunt for a new challenge. If you find that there are no challenges to be met, you will find another way to surpass yourself. On a funnier note, you still use dead memes like “It’s Over 9000.”

“Naruto”: One of your biggest worries is the safety and happiness of those who are closest to you. Without question, you’d do whatever is necessary to protect those people from harm and be there for them during their time of need. You often prioritize others, which can create issues if you overextend yourself while trying to help someone. However, your raw talent is definitely something to be admired and you’re not shy about showcasing it to the world. Though, you’re sometimes blind to the fact that you actually need to put in the effort to accomplish something. Unfortunately, believing in yourself is not always enough.

“Hunter x Hunter”: Your impulsive nature leads you into trouble more often than not. But that’ll never be enough to stop you from running headfirst into an adventure. In addition to that, you are confident in your ability to succeed in almost anything. As a result, you’ll probably end up learning a thing or two since you have a tendency to be stubborn when it comes to backing down. Unrelated to personality traits, you think that “Hunter x Hunter” is the most underrated anime and that everyone should watch it. You also think that anyone who pronounces the “x” in the title is stupid.

“Kimetsu no Yaiba, Demon Slayer”: “Demon Slayer” is a popular choice among new generation anime. You’re always talking about how great the animation is, though everyone else thinks the plot is boring. If this series is your favorite, you’re a very kind person at heart and you exhibit a great deal of determination when working towards your goals. However, it’s difficult for you to deal with negative emotions in a healthy way. With help from others, getting back on track shouldn’t be a problem.

“One-Punch Man”: It’s likely that you find little satisfaction with challenges that come your way. It’s not that you’re incapable of completing the task, it’s just that you’re never able to show your full potential. People often compliment your outstanding abilities, though it’s difficult for you to acknowledge your own strengths. Though when the time comes, you’ll be more than ready to give everything you’ve got. Also, during your downtime, you probably argue with “Dragon Ball” fans about whether or not Saitama could beat Goku.
