“So my last person that made me laugh was my little brother. My brother was in line for Kam (Kamehameha) testing today, and while he was in line for Kam testing, he pooped his pants. And he came home, he had to change, and it was so funny because he was so mad.”

“Mr. Jake Shimabukuro, my 3D composition teacher. He made me laugh because every Wednesday we have online class with him and he always talks a lot, jokes around and wants to make it entertaining. I asked him a question like ‘Hey Mister? How do I do this?’ and heʻs like, ‘Prances, I told you that already’ [in a funny voice].”

“Brandon, for sure. He is actually the head of counseling [at trio]. And I think it’s just his personality. His personality is just hilarious. He frowns a lot. So I think we [trio staff]always make jokes about it.”

“The last person that made me laugh was my older sister. She dropped me off this morning, and I told her if she was feeling kind if she could drop me off some lunch and then she said, ‘No, starve until 6 p.m.’ and then she drove away, yeah. And it was funny because I know that she’s not gonna do that.”

“My room mate. She is always funny and she makes me laugh because she acts strange. Last night… she suddenly danced…we are always laughing about something.”
Work is very expressive and captures how we tell our laughing experience well. Interview and discussion, kind and respectful so it made it fun to engage too. 👍🏻
