Jamie Nguyen is 21 years old and originally from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She moved to O‘ahu 3 years ago for school and is currently in her last semester at KCC majoring in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Business. In January, Nguyen will be transferring to UH Mānoa to complete her degree in International Business Marketing. She has enjoyed the opportunity to get to talk with students and staff while working on the BOSP and believes that it is helping her reach her future goals. "It's taught me a lot about professionalism and how to work professionally. In the BOSP, we not only work with the students, but we also work with the faculty and staff," Nguyen said. "I'm a people person so I like communicating with people. So being in the BOSP I get to talk to so many students and staff." In her free time Nguyen loves watching movies and goes to the theater whenever she can. Recently she watched the newly released movie "Coco" and loved it.
