Grace Jones is a 19-year-old Communication major from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon receiving advice from others, she decided to attend Kapi’olani Community College this fall. Her academic goal is to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Communications.

Jones currently works at the Morimoto restaurant on Kalākaua Avenue in Waikiki. A couple of years ago, she moved from Pennsylvania to Hawai’i. She enjoys hiking and scuba diving, why she has chosen to move to the island.

She shared a few things about the campus that appeal to her as a first-year student.

“I like the Great Lawn,” she said. “And I like the classrooms, because they have nice views.”
