Word on the Street: How are you feeling about the mask mandate being lifted?

“One day, I was in class and one of my professors said something that I like. That if you don’t wear mask, it’s solely up to you, but don’t judge the people that are wearing it because they are being safe. So, I think that it sort of reflects my view. If there are people that don’t wear it, then that’s their choice, as long as both sides accepts each other.”

“I feel pretty good about it. I would say that it’s really hot on this campus and wearing a mask does not make it any better. It’s actually very hard to get to my classes without me breaking a sweat and it’s very hard to concentrate in the heat sometimes. Also, I feel like wearing a cloth over your face when told to is not really your choice to wear a mask. It’s more of, to make other’s feel safe. Well, a mental thing at least. That’s my opinion on it.”

“It’s fine, because as long as you wash your hands, I don’t think it will really matter. You get more sick when you’re not washing your hands after touching stuff than without the mask.”

“I feel happy about it, because I don’t have to wear mask all the time. It’s because when you have mask, you breakout a lot.”
