Tai Marshall is a third-year student at Kapiʻolani Community College majoring in Liberal Arts. Originally from Tahiti, Marshall moved to Hawaiʻi when he was only 5 years old. He eventually decided to pursue his dream of becoming a pharmacist.
“I’ve always dreamed of becoming a pharmacist, and KCC felt like the right place to start that journey,” Marshall said.
Balancing 10 credits and working as a pharmacy technician has been one of his biggest challenges as a student.
“Juggling a full-time job and full-time school can be tough sometimes,” he said. “But I just try to stay focused on my goals and manage my time the best I can.”
Outside of his studies, Marshall’s personality shines through his easygoing nature.
“My friends would probably describe me as outgoing, friendly, and stress-free,” he said with a laugh. “I try not to overthink things — just go with the flow.”
