The Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW) will host its first cosplay workshop at KCC on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Kokiʻo 202. Students will be taught how to solder LEDs onto a circuit board and learn how to make keychains with LED designs.

The goal of the project is to teach engineering skills to students who are not necessarily enrolled in engineering. ESW has partnered with the Anime Club at KCC so that it can use LEDs in its cosplay for Kawaii Kon from Friday to Sunday at the Hawai‘i Convention Center.

This is an open event for anyone who is interested in learning engineering skills. ESW hopes that through this workshop that students will learn engineering skills that they can use on other projects they have in the future.
